Share your views on issues in the east marine plan areas
We are conducting further stakeholder engagement for the east marine plan areas.
Following the in-person Issues with Supporting Evidence events we conducted this November, we are hosting three online events, providing stakeholders further opportunity to contribute their perspectives.

Marine activity data
To search for activities or data in a specific area:
- Select data you want to see from the list below, or by searching for layers using the search tool
- Once added to the map, click the layer on the map to see further information
- Click on ⓘ next to the layer name on the list below to see additional information about the layer
- You can click on clear all button to deselect all selected layers
- You can click collapse all button to minimise all open categories in the list

Search for policies
To search for a marine policy from a marine plan you can draw a shape to search for policies within a specified area.
You can also click on a marine plan area on the map to see all policies relevant to that marine plan area.
To see policies relevant to a whole marine plan area:
- Click on "search by marine plan area"
- Click on the relevant marine plan area on the map
- All policies within this marine plan area will be displayed on the left-hand side
- Click Clear policy search button, or the "bin" symbol at the top left of the map, to start again
To draw a shape:
- Click start drawing on the map:
- zoom or drag the map to your area of interest
- start to draw a shape by clicking anywhere within the blue marine plan boundaries to create your first point
- continue to draw the shape by clicking as many anchor points as needed
- press ctrl+z to undo the last anchor point if needed
- double click to complete the shape
- The policies that apply within your shape will be displayed on the left-hand side
- Policies will appear as spatially specific policies and plan area policies. Spatially specific policies only apply to the area in which you have drawn your shape, and plan area policies apply to the whole of the marine plan area in which you have drawn your shape
- Click Clear policy search button, or the "bin" symbol at the top left of the map, to start again

- marine data on a map of the English marine area
- information on marine licences relating to a specific area
- policy information from the marine plans
How to use this service:
There are two ways to find information on the map. You can:
- find the most recently published marine activities data
- use the drawing tool to find and view marine policy information in the area you select or a wider marine plan area

This service only includes geographic and marine policy information in England. Use of data within this service is subject to copyright, please see dataset metadata for individual copyright statements.
